For 2015, the following Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee members will be running for election:

 

 

Board of Directors

Wayne Turnacliff, Chairman

Wayne has been a BVCU member since 1979, a member of BVCU Board of Directors since 2001 and has served as the Chairman of the Board since 2007. He is a retired Vice President of Production and Test Operations from Ball Aerospace with 18 year of service. Prior to moving to the Board, Mr. Turnacliff served on the BVCU Supervisory Committee.

 

Wade Payne

Wade has been a BVCU member since 1981, was appointed to the BVCU Board of Directors in 2013 and has served on the Supervisory Committee for 7 years. Mr. Payne is a retired Math Educator from the Boulder Valley School District with over 31 years of service. He has also owned his own construction company for over 30 years.

In his spare time, Wade has been involved in community services (coaching) for more than 15 years, a Cub Scout leader for 3 years and a Boy Scout leader for 6. Additionally, he started volunteering with Meals On Wheels in 2013.

 

Lynel Vallier

Lynel has been a BVCU member since 1998 and was appointed to the BVCU Board of Directors in 2013. He is a retired Director of Laboratory Services from the Boulder Community Hospital with 28 years of service. Mr. Vallier has served on the Board of Golden West Senior Housing for 18 years and as a Chairman for over 6 years.

In his spare time, he is also currently serving on a committee at University of Colorado, Boulder.

 

Supervisory Committee

 

Robert Carruthers

Robert has been a BVCU member since 2009. He retired from IBM in Boulder in 1992. His community involvement includes: volunteering with the United Way for 30+ years, the Optimist Club for 40+ years, St. Ambrose Episcopal Church for 23 years and Sanchez Elementary School for 14 years.

Mr. Carruthers also served on the Credit Committee at IBM Credit Union.

 

 

 

Important Election Information

Nominations for vacancies may also be made by petition signed by one percent of the membership with a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 500. Petitions must be received by 02/12/2015. The election will not be conducted by ballot and there will be no nominations from the floor when there is at least one nominee for each position to be filled.

 

The Annual Meeting will be held 03/25/2015 at 3:00 PM at 5505 Arapahoe Ave in Boulder, CO.
